This Group approached Gateway pods in 2000 with a view to developing a standard bathroom layout for the Launch of the new Ramada Encore brand. This partnership produced a standard bathroom pod layout that has since been rolled out on a global basis.
The initial bathroom pod was manufactured in the Gateway factory, and was positioned into a complete Modular bedroom manufactured by our associate company Britspace.
This was then loaded onto a low load trailer and driven around Europe for potential franchisees to walk around the new corporate layout. This has proven to be a successful launch and now Gateway pods can be found in a great many of the Ramada Encore Hotels in the UK.
